Porter sets the standard for service, bringing an uncompromising commitment to delivering on its “flying refined” brand promise.
Service
From top to bottom, inside and out, we’ve raised the bar. This new standard in air travel is evident not only in our ultra-modern facilities, but in the quality of our staff. Each team member has been specially selected and trained to put travellers first with impeccable and innovative service. (Their uniforms are pretty sharp too!)This commitment to innovation is reflected in our aircraft as well. Porter chooses to fly the state-of-the-art Bombardier Q400, the most technologically-advanced regional aircraft in the world. It’s fast, quiet and offers custom leather seats with two to three inches more legroom than typical economy-class seating. This truly is flying refined.
Speed
How’s this for a change? The next time you fly into Toronto, you can actually fly into Toronto. That’s right, avoid the additional expense and unpredictability of trips to Pearson. Porter Airlines flies out of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, just minutes from downtown.Because of our central location and small airport feel, we can dramatically cut your total travel time. Easy access to the airport, quick check-in and security, short taxi to the runway and a fast, modern aircraft can potentially save you hours on a round-trip flight.
Convenience
Porter Airlines has streamlined the entire travel process to give you the ultimate in convenience. For your flights into Toronto, start with an airport that's located at the foot of Bathurst St. It's just a short cab ride away. If you want to save the fare you can take the TTC or GO Transit to Union Station. Our free shuttle bus runs directly from the airport to the west end of The Fairmont Royal York Hotel (located at the north-east corner of Front Street and York Street, across from Union Station.)Temporary relocation – As of December 17, 2012
Due to city road closures, the shuttle pick-up and drop-off location downtown is moving to to the south side of Front St. on the Southwest corner of York and Front streets. The designated stop is located in front of Casey’s Bar and Grill.
This change will be for an indefinite period. Updates will be provided as construction progresses.
Please note that the check-in kiosk formerly located at Union Station is permanently closed - please check-in at the airport.
